Staff and Leadership
-
A “pastor” (or “elder” or “overseer”) is a man who meets the biblical qualifications laid out in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, and who is appointed to lead, shepherd, teach and care for God’s people in a local church.
Biblically, there is no distinction in office between a “pastor” and and “elder”, but for the sake of clarity we as a church choose to use different verbage for the respective roles since our senior pastor is tasked uniquely with leading the church not only spiritually but also organizationally, and in terms of vision.
-
We have a team of amazing staff members who handle the day-to-day operations, including managing finances, maintaining church grounds, coordinating events, facilitating teams, and providing support to the pastor.
Biblically, our staff would fall generally under what the Bible calls “deacons” (1 Timothy 3:8-12).
-
No. We are an independent church that is governed by a plurality of elders.
