Youth Camp

Our spring break youth camp is coming up! From March 16-19, this campus will be bursting at the seams with about 100 students and 50 counselors and volunteers. Our camp speaker will be teaching through Hebrews 11-12

This camp’s spiritual focus is all about faith and what it means to let God mark our lives with it. We are starting by making it clear to students that no matter who they are or what their story looks like, faith is possible for them. God is not looking for perfect people, He is looking for trust. From there, we will lean into the truth that faith is not optional in our walk with God. Scripture tells us that without faith it is impossible to please Him, and we want students to understand that faith shapes how we live, worship, and follow Jesus. In the middle of the week, the Gospel will be clearly presented as the foundation of everything we believe. Students will be invited to respond to who Jesus is and what He has done for them. We will close by challenging students to think beyond this week and ask what kind of legacy they want to leave. Our prayer is that they would choose to run their race with endurance and step into a life that leaves a legacy of faith.

Theme verses: Hebrews 12:1-2

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

We covet your prayers in the weeks leading up to camp:

1. Pray for physical safety for all students and leaders

2. Pray for softened hearts and a distraction-free time as students hear the Good News of the Gospel.

3. Pray for the youth volunteers and staff coming from four different churches across the island to lead their youth with wisdom, discernment, and joy.

Keiki Day

We are ready and excited to come back together again for Keiki Day, starting February 11th. This semester, our Chapel theme will be looking at different Names of God. All ages are welcome to join us. This semester we are offering: Story Time, Earth Science, Music, Field Games and Discipleship Class.

Learning to live in community is a big part of growing in our individual walks with The Lord, so these Wednesdays aren't only for fun (although they certainly are fun!) but are great opportunities to learn from each other, forgive each other, think of others more than ourselves, and bless each other! Seeds are being planted in our kids (and in us) through these classes, to take root, grow, and bear fruit in lives that honor God!
